Celebrating Milestones of Kwathanze High School as a Volleyball Hub in Africa

The mentorship program at Kwathanze High School, organized by Yokora Sports in collaboration with Mizuno Volleyball Europe and the Mercy Moim Foundation, was a momentous occasion celebrating the school’s remarkable achievements in volleyball.

Kwathanze High School had recently won the prestigious Soya Award for the best volleyball team, solidifying their status as champions in high school volleyball across Africa. To honor their success and inspire future victories, the mentorship program was designed to empower the girls and equip them with the tools they need to excel further.

The event commenced with heartfelt congratulations to the team for their outstanding accomplishment. Mercy Moim, a beacon of inspiration as both a professional volleyball player and a mentor, shared her insights and experiences with the girls, encouraging them to dream big and work hard towards their goals.

As part of the program, each girl received a special package of Mizuno goods, including training shoes designed for optimum performance on the volleyball court. The girls’ faces lit up with joy as they tried on their new shoes, feeling the support and encouragement from Yokora Sports, Mizuno Volleyball Europe, and the Mercy Moim Foundation.

The event was not just about the tangible gifts; it was about instilling a sense of pride, determination, and aspiration in the girls. They were reminded that their hard work and dedication had paid off, and with the right support and mentorship, they could continue to achieve greatness in the world of volleyball.

As the girls proudly wore their Mizuno training shoes, they stepped into a future filled with possibilities and potential. The mentorship program was a celebration of success, unity, and the unwavering spirit of champions, leaving a lasting impact on Kwathanze High School’s volleyball team.
